TURNER LAKE CANOE CHAIN

 

On the eastern edge of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, at 3,500 feet stretches a chain of lakes which flow into Turner Lake and ultimately over Hunlen Falls. Seven lakes connected by a stream hidden between the Coastal Mountains that are all accessible by canoe. You can rent a canoe for the day, or add a cabin and stay for a week.

There is lots of opportunity to plan a getaway to a backcountry outpost! From a rustic cabin on a lake all to yourself, to a high-end lodge! The ways you can experience the backcountry is up to you with endless options for adventure!

BACK COUNTRY HIKING

 

Want to take a hike? Look no further than the stunning backcountry of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. You can follow streams in the Turner Lake chain or head to the bluffs to view Hunlen Falls. For the more adventurous, trek the high alpine lakes of Panorama Ridge. We also fly out hikers to the historic 'Grease Trail' in the Rainbow Range Mountains.

CANOEING, DRIFTING & RAFTING

 

In addition to the Turner Lake chain, the Dean and Blackwater Rivers are full of opportunity to canoe, raft or drift in these wild waters - and of course, fly fishing for wild rainbow trout!
